Lazyness stems from the "desire to have a break"

When you realize that you CANNOT possibly have a "break", repel the desire for a break, and the lazyness will go away. If you dont WANT a break, you CANNOT be lazy.

I also like the corollary that if you don't get it, don't implement it. Ray and I worked on a complicated email/cookie based authentication system. While I was working on it, I got confused and had to draw a flow chart to keep track of the differnt paths through the system. The name of that feature is now our euphemism for 'way too complicated.'

You lazy bum.

Are you going to have a "keep it simple" thread as well? That's my problem. I sit and I think just like Winnie the Pooh, Think ... think ... think ... tapping my head all the while, trying to keep it nice and simple. And it ends up complicated anyway. It's think it's a side-effect of not seeing the big picture, even when it's the big picture of that small subset of the whole problem.
